Functions

Urban space fixtures don’t have to be boring. With is curvy base, TimberNest can rock back and forth like a rocking chair. That makes TimberNest a different kind of urban space fixture, which is both mobile and engaging for users of the urban space. The fact that you sit across from one another gives you a sense of closeness that you don’t achieve with a classic park bench. TimberNest is therefore great at generating a pulse and an atmosphere in all kinds of urban spaces.

In the summer of 2021, we rented 3 TimberNests for the city square in Slagelse, where they've had a great impact on creating a vibrant square at the benefit of the city's shops and local businesses. The furniture brings a new expression to the city scape and creates a backdrop for play and social time across generations. We chose to buy the furniture once the rental period expired. The service which Kristian and the rest of the team provides, is sure to make us come back.
