TimberNest with suspension in Brenderup
In 2022, we delivered the first TimberNest with suspension. The suspension has been carefully developed in collaboration with customers to create the best possible product. The suspension, which is fixed to both the TimberNest and the ground, ensures that the furniture does not move without compromising the tilting function. At the same time, the furniture is lifted from the ground, which ensures a height that prevents people from getting stuck underneath it.
The suspension makes the furniture optimal for institutions with younger children.
Social furniture in the school yard
Ida Holst School in Svendborg has earned two new pieces of rocking furniture. A group of parents fund-raised money for renewing the outdoor spaces and on that occasion they decided to purchase two TimberNests, which the students can enjoy during recess or in group work settings.
A space to enjoy lunch in Odense Zoo
Odense Zoo was the first customer to embrace our concept of rental on a yearly basis. The park has rented four pieces of outdoor furniture and placed them in front of the lunch house, Atollen. Here they will create the perfect setting for cozy lunch times the next year.
Green spaces in Hjørring City Centre
In the summer of 2021, Hjørring’s retail association rented new outdoor furniture for the main shopping street. The ten pieces of outdoor furniture was part of the initiative, Summer City Hjørring, which besides creating happy times, was supposed to spark local business after one and a half years with covid-19 lock downs.
TimberNests lights up Roskilde ´19
In July 2019, we rented out six festival friendly TimberNests with LED lights for Roskilde Festival. The lights were battery driven, so there was still an opportunity to move the outdoor furniture around.
Urban space inventory adorn Kolding Marina
Kolding Municipality’s new urban area, Marina City is to be a show case for sustainable urban development. Therefore, the city has high requirements for buildings an urban spaces in the area.
We delivered two TimberNest including a service agreement to the project. In this version, the sides are made from recycled plastic and the frame is made from steel, so that the wooden slats can be exchanged numerous times. Additionally, the furniture can be disassembled by end use, so the material can be used again, if possible.
Summer vibrations in Givskud Zoo
In the summer of 2021, Givskud Zoo rented outdoor furniture that was places around the park for two and a half months during high season. The ten pieces of furniture has been the foundation for conversation between parents, while the kids have been playing in the playground next to them, but also for a rocking time (pun intended) for the whole family.
New urban furniture at the city square
In June 2018, we delivered three TimberNests for the city square in Nykøbing Falster, that provide seating for citizens and local businesses.
The furniture has since been a popular attraction for those who like to tilt and rock. The outdoor furniture has also created a backdrop for many of the events, which the city has hosted, such as the national championships in road cycling and summer concerts.
TimberNests create a pulse in the shopping street
In 2017, we delivered six TimberNests for Kongensgade Nord in Odense. The social furniture is part of an effort to make a more attractive urban space in the northern part of the shopping street and has been a permanent part of the urban space inventory since 2017.
In 2020, we performed maintenance on the furniture in order to freshen up the appearance and extend the life of the furniture.
